Walking / Hiking with NSU Friends

Walking/hiking groups are meeting over the summer to explore the beautiful trails of Lynn Valley — and you’re invited!

Where: Meet at the seating area outside End of the Line General Store & Cafe, which is located at the intersection of Lynn Valley Road and Dempsey Road (bus 228 to the end of Lynn Valley Rd or street parking).

When: 1pm on July 11th and August 8th (the second Saturday of July & August)

Why: Walking and talking in nature — what could be better?

Intensity will vary, depending on who shows up and how fast they want to walk.

Bring water, although drinks can be purchased at the cafe and people may want to hang out afterwards.

Monday Meditation

You’re invited to drop in for any or all of these free weekly Meditation sessions led by Dianne Hicks (11am to noon each Monday in the Sanctuary). These sessions will be in the Vipassana tradition, starting with Meta (loving kindness) and then followed by a silent meditation and a reading for discussion. The only requirement is to be able to close your eyes and breathe. Contact Dianne Hicks or the Church Office with questions. Sign up here (https://nsuc.breezechms.com/form/0dafb9) or simply drop in.

Dianne Hicks has been offering free Meditation sessions in the Sanctuary on Mondays at 11am. But during June, July and August, the sessions will likely be held less often — and possibly at a different location due to our elevator construction project.

Board Meeting

You’re invited to attend our next Board Meeting in person (in the Fireside Room) or on Zoom. (Get the Zoom link from the eBulletin the week before, or from Janni in the Main Office).

Sunday Services:

Join us at 10:30 am for our weekly Sunday Services, September through June. We meet in our Sanctuary (370 Mathers Avenue in West Vancouver, BC).

Our Services are held each Sunday at 10:30am in our Sanctuary. We are on break for the remainder of July and August, but will begin meeting again for Sunday Services on September 13, 2026.
