One of our congregants (Shonaugh Pickens) has a service dog, Yin, that is trained to assist her. Service dog etiquette requires that we ignore Yin (as if she is invisible) when her harness is ON (indicating that she is “working”). When her harness comes OFF, you’re welcome to acknowledge and interact with Yin — she is a very friendly dog!
