10:30 am Sunday – Quaker Meeting For Business: A Different Way to Discuss Challenging Issues.
Our society often avoids conflicts. We may wonder, “Is there a way to stay loving and connected, even when we disagree?” As early as 1653, the Quakers developed a tool for sorting out challenging decisions (called ‘The Quaker Worship Meeting For Business’). This method provides a way to listen deeply to ourselves, each other, and the issue. In this service, we will explore this tool in hopes that it will expand our ability to learn, discuss, listen, and grow.
