Celebrating Life’s Transitions

Unitarians recognize the significance of all life transitions and believe in helping others honour their personal journeys in meaningful ways. By bringing together our family and friends in celebration of these milestones throughout our life, we mark the events as being significant.

We can offer a beautiful location for your Life Transition Celebration — and our Lay Chaplain can officiate your event onsite or offsite at the venue of your choice on the Lower Mainland.

make your special event perfect

Your celebration needs to be as special as you are! We can help by providing either or both of these things:

venue

Our beautiful Sanctuary seats about 150 people. With high ceilings, art glass windows, and natural wood flooring, it provides the perfect backdrop for your wedding. Seating is comfortable, with wide, padded chairs that can be arranged to suit your needs. Our sound system includes several microphone options and a loop system for those with hearing issues. You’re invited to use our projector and large screen for a video or slide show before, during, or after your event. Our Fireside Room (downstairs) is the perfect spot for serving food, seating up to 80 people or so.

officiant

Our Lay Chaplain can officiate your ceremony on site in our Sanctuary and Fireside Room, or offsite at the venue of your choice in the Lower Mainland and surrounding area. As Unitarians, we are experts at integrating diverse traditions into ceremonies. We combine our experience and time-honoured resources with creative input that expresses your uniqueness and the values of your family, culture, and identity.

WHAT you CAN EXPECT FROM US:

  • Ceremonies that reflect what is meaningful to you & your beliefs

  • Inclusive of diversity (faith, culture, sexual orientation, gender identity, etc.)

  • A compassionate & professional officiant.

  • Creative & helpful support.
