When preparing to mark the passing of a loved one, you need the perfect venue as well as a compassionate Officiant to guide you through the process of planning a ceremony that is as special and unique as the person who has passed. We can help with either or both of these things:

Venue

Our beautiful Sanctuary seats about 150 people. With high ceilings, art glass windows, and natural wood flooring, it provides the perfect backdrop for funerals, memorials, and celebrations of life. Seating is comfortable, with wide, padded chairs that can be arranged to suit your needs. Our sound system includes several microphone options and a loop system for those with hearing issues. You’re invited to use our projector and large screen for a slide show before, during, or after your ceremony. If you have a reception following the service, our Fireside Room (downstairs) is perfect, seating up to 80 people or so.

Our Lay Chaplain can officiate your funeral, memorial, or celebration of life ceremony on site in our Sanctuary and Fireside Room, or offsite at the venue of your choice in the Lower Mainland and surrounding area. Our Lay Chaplain will partner with you to create a memorable experience that reflects what you and your loved ones value. As Unitarians, we are experts at integrating diverse traditions into ceremonies. We combine our experience and time-honoured resources with creative input that expresses your uniqueness.
